Study in Ohio seeks participants for 5-year study about disease incidence

Women throughout Ohio's 29-county Appalachian region may soon have the opportunity to help researchers from The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center answer important questions about the incidence of cervical cancer in southern and eastern Ohio. Researchers from the OSU Comprehensive Cancer Center are working with healthcare administrators and clinicians in Scioto and Lawrence Counties in identifying women who may be eligible to enroll in the 5-year study. They hope to enlist at least 100 women at each of 16 sites in the first phase of the project.
