Studies describe new findings in breast cancer research

Investigators in the United States, Canada and Germany have published new breast cancer data. Study 1: Pre-biopsy breast massages transport epithelial cells to sentinel lymph nodes. According to recent research published in the American Journal of Surgical Pathology, "the evaluation of sentinel lymph nodes (SLNs) for the presence of malignant epithelial cells is essential to the staging of breast cancer patients.
