Breast cancer foundation hosted annual conference

The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation hosted its annual Komen Affiliate Conference at the Wyndham Anatole Hotel in Dallas, Texas. The conference, titled "A Promise in Action," brings together nearly 800 Komen Foundation volunteers, patient advocates and breast cancer survivors to discuss recent advances in breast cancer and to exchange ideas, information and resources to help put an end to the disease. Representatives from more than 100 U.S. and three international Komen Affiliates will commemorate the Komen Foundation's accomplishments from the past year.
