$300,000 in unrestricted development grants given to 6 orthopedic surgeons

Zimmer Holdings, Inc. (ZMH), who does business in the orthopedics industry, announced that it has funded a total of approximately $300,000 in unrestricted grants to 6 orthopedic surgeons who are early in their careers and are pursuing further training or investigation.

The Orthopaedic Research and Education Foundation (OREF) administered the selection process. Two of the awards were targeted for minority and female applicants, with those selections being assisted by the J. Robert Gladden and Ruth Jackson Orthopaedic Societies.
