Age, ovarian reserve predict IVF cycle outcome in low responders

Reproductive medicine specialists have determined that age and ovarian reserve are prognostic indicators of in vitro fertilization (IVF) cycle outcome in patients with low ovarian stimulation response. "The respective roles of age and ovarian reserve in predicting IVF outcome do not seem to be equivalent, as a high pregnancy rate seems to be preserved in the youngest women despite low ovarian recruitment," said J.
