Companies announce strategic alliance for ThinPrep Imaging System

Cytyc Corp. (CYTC) and Bio-Reference Laboratories, Inc., (BRLI) announced a strategic agreement to implement Cytyc's ThinPrep Imaging System at Bio-Reference Laboratories in Elmwood Park, New Jersey. Bio-Reference Laboratories, Inc., describes itself as the largest independent clinical laboratory in the Northeast and the third largest full-service, publicly traded clinical laboratory in the United States. This 3-year agreement is for the implementation of the ThinPrep Imaging System at Bio-Reference Laboratories, Inc. Cytyc personnel will provide marketing materials to and participate in training of BRLI physician and hospital sales representatives....
