Array-CGH and tissue microarrays together help identify prognostic markers

Complimentary use of array-CGH (comparative genomic hybridization) and tissue microarrays can help identify prognostic markers in breast cancer cases, suggest oncologists. "Gene amplification, an important mechanism of oncogene activation in breast cancer, can have both prognostic and therapeutic implications.
