Research in osteoporosis provides new insights

Reports from the United States and markus highlight recent research on osteoporosis.

Study 1: Researchers conclude that all organ transplant recipients should receive preventative therapy for osteoporosis.

According to a study from the United States, "Organ transplant recipients experience rapid bone loss and high fracture rates, particularly during the early post-transplant period."
