Evidence-based medicine screened for likelihood of sentinel lymph node biopsy

Scientists claimed that evidence-based medicine (EBM) helps screen for the need and validity of sentinel lymph node biopsy (SLNB) in breast cancer patients. According to recent research published in the journal American Surgeon, "SLNB has not been examined using the principles of EBM. Specifically, likelihood ratios have not been used to assess the validity of SLNB.
