Researchers provide details of new studies and findings in the area of breast cancer

New findings from Sweden and the United States describe advances in breast cancer.

Study 1: An analysis of data from a cancer registry in Sweden didn't indicate any connection between exposure to magnetic fields and increased risk of breast cancer in women.

U.M. Forssen and colleagues, Karolinska Institute, wrote, "Several recent epidemiologic studies on occupational magnetic field exposure have suggested an association with female breast cancer. The purpose of this study was to test this hypothesis by using the extensive Swedish population registers in combination with improved exposure assessment.
