Data on osteoporosis are outlined in reports from France, Italy and the Kohrt and coauthors published their study in Medicine and Science in Sports and Exercise (Physical activity and bone health. Study 1: Revised hormone replacement guidelines issued by European and French health authorities for prevention of postmenopausal osteoporosis are problematic for gynecologists, say two practitioners at the Hospital European Georges Pompidou, Paris. A. Tamborini and J.-C. Ruiz wrote, "Hormone replacement therapy (HRT) [in] menopause has already proved to be effective in preventing bone loss and reducing the risk of fractures in postmenopausal women....
