Breast cancer data are the focus of recent research from the United States and Australia. Study 1: FAK upregulation in ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS) is an early event in breast tumorigenesis. "Focal adhesion kinase (FAK) is a protein tyrosine kinase that is overexpressed in a subset of invasive breast cancers," oncologists in the United States explained.
