Goserelin and tamoxifen after chemo benefits younger node-positive patients

A regimen of goserelin and tamoxifen after chemotherapy benefits premenopausal women with nodepositive breast cancer, oncologists report. S. Deplacido and colleagues, University of Naples Federico II, wrote, "The sequential doxorubicin->CMF (CMF=cyclophosphamide, methotrexate, fluorouracil) regimen has never been compared to CMF in a randomized trial. The role of adding goserelin and tamoxifen (GT) after chemotherapy is unclear." They evaluated "the benefits of postchemotherapy GT in 466 premenopausal node-positive patients.
