British scientist proposes study to determine hormone levels in human hair

According to Dr. Stan van Uum, a scientist at Lawson Health Research Institute, and endocrinologist at St. Joseph's Health Care London, it's what's inside the hair that counts. Van Uum is launching a study based at St. Joseph's Hospital to determine the levels of 2 hormones in human hair, testosterone and cortisol, that can have a profound effect on your health.

This research is done in collaboration with Dr. Gideon Koren, Ivey Chair in molecular toxicology at The University of Western Ontario' Schulich School of Medicine.
