CpTM complexes for imaging of ER-positive tumors evaluated

Novel CpTM complexes have been developed for imaging breast tumors expressing estrogen receptor (ER). In a study from the United States, "[c]yclopentadienyl tricarbonylmetal (CpTM, M=Re, 94mTc) complexes, some based on a typical nonsteroidal estrogen, were prepared with the aim of developing technetium- and rhenium-labeled imaging agents" for ER-positive breast tumors.
