WIC program influences infant-feeding decisions of black women

Participating in the Women, Infants and Children (WIC) program influences black women's infant-feeding decisions, research from one urban clinic shows. Roberta Cricco-Lizza, University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing, collected data from "319 people (130 black women enrolled in WIC [BWEW], 189 relatives and friends) with close follow-up of 11 primiparous key informants during pregnancy and the first year postpartum."
