Anemia during adjuvant chemotherapy predicts poor survival in women with primary breast cancer, researchers report. "Tumor anemia is a common symptom in cancer patients, particularly in those receiving chemotherapy. The aim of the current study was to analyze the impact of hemoglobin [Hb] levels on the prognosis of patients with primary breast cancer receiving adjuvant chemotherapy," said C.
