Use of antibiotics doesn't appear to be a risk factor for breast cancer. L.A. Garcia Rodriguez and Antonio Gonzalez-Perez, Spanish Center for Pharmacoepidemiologic Research in Madrid, tried to replicate results of a "recent nested case-control study [that found] increasing use of antibiotics was associated with a significantly elevated risk of breast cancer." The current research had "a similar study design using the General Practice Research Database in the United Kingdom.
