Perceived partner reactions to disease has psychological affects on women

Female breast cancer patients' perceptions of their partner's reaction to their disease after surgery have multiple psychological affects on women. "Two studies examined breast cancer patients' perceptions of their partners' reactions to their diagnosis and treatment as influences on three aspects of patients' well-being: psychosexual adjustment, emotional distress, and marital satisfaction," wrote S.R.
