Recent findings illuminate research in breast cancer

Investigators in France, the South Korea and the United Kingdom have published new breast cancer data. Study 1: Researchers report the contribution of new drugs to neoadjuvant treatment of early breast cancer in a recent issue of the Bulletin du Cancer. "Neoadjuvant chemotherapy has been primitively used in locally advanced breast cancer. More recently, indications have been extended to operable lesions. Several randomized trials have compared preoperative chemotherapy with postoperative surgery.
