Silicone and polyurethane migration to lymph nodes confirmed

A study by pathologists confirms that silicone and polyurethane from breast implants migrate to regional lymph nodes.

According to W.E. Katzin and colleagues at AmeriPatho in Cleveland, Ohio, "There are only a few published reports describing the pathology of regional lymph nodes from patients with silicone breast implants. Systematic analytical chemical verification of foreign material has not previously been reported.
