Interventions needed to encourage low-income women to breastfeed

University of Florida researchers say interventions are needed to encourage low-income women in the U.S. to breastfeed.

"Despite the documented health and emotional benefits of breastfeeding to women and children, breastfeeding rates are low among subgroups of women," wrote A.J. Khoury and colleagues in the University's Department of Health Service Research Management & Policy.
