Disturbance of HPA axis in CFS characterized by underactivation of HPA axis

According to recent research published in the journal Endocrinologist, "Chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS) is a disease characterized by debilitating fatigue of at least 6 months' duration. The pathophysiology and the localization of the underlying hypothalamopituitary-adrenal (HPA) axis disturbance are a matter of debate." H.B.
