Study findings suggest cancer etiology and outcome may be linked

An analysis of data from the U.S. National Cancer Institute's Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results (SEER) program suggest that breast cancer etiology and outcome may be linked. "Breast cancer is a heterogeneous and chronic disease with relapses and death occurring 25 years or more after primary diagnosis.
