Tibolone associated with upregulated expression of estrogen and LDL receptors

The menopausal drug tibolone is associated with upregulated expression of estrogen and low density lipoprotein (LDL) receptors, whereas simvastatin isn't, shows an analysis of a study conducted in rabbits. "After menopause women are more susceptible to coronary heart disease due to increased risk of atherosclerosis.
