New data illuminates research in breast cancer

Data on breast cancer are outlined in reports from South Korea and Turkey. Study 1: The polymorphic valine allele at codon 655 of the Her2 gene genotype may be associated with breast cancer progression in Korean women, suggest study data. H.J. An and colleagues, Pochon CHA University, Kyonggi Do, South Korea, wrote, "The amplification and overexpression of Her2 proto-oncogene have been found to be associated with the development and progression of human breast cancer.
