MRI-compatible vacuum-assisted breast biopsy system shows promise

A novel MRI-compatible breast biopsy system has been developed and evaluated in an animal model. "A vacuum-assisted breast biopsy system was modified for freehand MRI-guided biopsy in an open, interventional 0.5-T scanner," radiologists in California explained.
