Research add new data to osteoporosis body of knowledge

New findings from the United States and Denmark describe advances in osteoporosis. Study 1: A review article in a recent issue of Pharmacotherapy discussed treatment options for osteoporosis in postmenopausal women. David Greenblatt, a rheumatologist at the Deaconess Arthritis Center, Cincinnati, Ohio, wrote, "Osteoporosis is a major public health burden. The most devastating outcome of osteoporosis is fracture, which results in increased morbidity and mortality.
