Dosing of phase 1 clinical trial for taxane TPI 287 for breast cancer initiated

Tapestry Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (TPPH), a company developing therapies for the treatment of cancer, announced that it has begun dosing in its phase 1 clinical trial of TPI 287, a taxane Tapestry designed to overcome the resistance that may develop in patients refractory to currently available taxanes. This phase 1 trial of TPI 287 is an open label, multicenter dose-escalation trial, designed to evaluate the safety and pharmacokinetic profile of the compound in eligible patients with recurrent and/or refractory malignancies.
