Efficacy of aprepitant for preventing chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting

Scientists explored the efficacy of aprepitant (APR) for avoiding chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting (CINV) in patients after emetogenic chemotherapy. According to recent research published in the Journal of Clinical Oncology, "This is the first study in which the NK1-receptor antagonist, APR, was evaluated for the prevention of CINV with moderately emetogenic chemotherapy.
