Daily ganirelix treatment reduces volume of the uterus and uterine leiomyomas (fibroids), indicate study data. P.A. Flierman and colleagues, OLVG, Amsterdam, examined the "maximal volume reduction of leiomyomas and uterus and the duration of treatment required to reach these reductions" in premenopausal women receiving a daily gonadatropin releasing hormone (GnRH) antagonist called ganirelix.
