Permanent breast seed implant with palladium-103 seeds provides safe dose

A permanent breast seed implant (PBSI) with 103Pd seeds appears to have a safely low dose level. According to recent research from Canada, a PBSI technique was "developed as a new form of partial adjuvant radiation therapy for early-stage breast cancer." In their study, B.
