Amendment to McKesson distribution agreement for laser products announced
June 30th, 2005
Laserscope (LSCP), who develops and commercializes medical lasers and fiber-optic devices, announced that it and McKesson Medical-Surgical Inc. have agreed to amend the parties' original distribution agreement. The original agreement provided to McKesson exclusive rights to distribute Laserscope's core aesthetic laser products in the U.S. The amendment to the distribution agreement makes McKesson's distribution rights nonexclusive, extends the term of the distribution agreement for an additional 5 years (subject to the pre-existing termination provisions), increases the suite of products covered by the distribution agreement to include Laserscope's...
