Researchers' findings advance assisted reproduction research

Investigators in the Spain; csimon@ivi, United States and Brazil have published new assisted reproduction data. Study 1: Gene expression profiles of the endometrium during controlled ovarian hyperstimulation have been reported for the first time. "Controlled ovarian hyperstimulation (COH) used in in vitro fertilization (IVF) produces lower implantation rates per embryo transferred compared to natural cycles utilized in ovum donation, suggesting a suboptimal endometrial development," wrote J.A.
