Investigators in Italy, Germany and the United States have published new cardiology data. Study 1: A recent report describes the role of endothelial dysfunction and insulin resistance in angina pectoris and normal coronary angiogram. According to the report from Italy, "Angina pectoris and a normal coronary angiogram or cardiac syndrome X is a heterogeneous syndrome that probably encompasses different pathophysiological entities.
