Poor mental health, gender inequality are risk factors for women in India

Poor mental health and gender inequality were identified as risk factors for chronic fatigue syndrome in women living in Goa, India. Researchers with the University of London's School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine conducted a study to determine "the prevalence of and risk factors for chronic fatigue in a developing country; in particular, to determine the association of anemia, mental health, and gender disadvantage factors with chronic fatigue."
