Combined pelvic floor muscle training and duloxetine is effective treatment

Pelvic floor muscle training combined with the drug duloxetine was found more effective for treatment of stress urinary incontinence than either approach alone or placebo, report researchers with Eli Lilly & Co., the company that makes duloxetine. "We primarily compared the effectiveness of combined pelvic floor muscle training (PFMT) and duloxetine with imitation PFMT and placebo for 12 weeks in women with stress urinary incontinence (SUI).
