Exploratory analysis of CERA data shows sustained and stable control of anemia

New data from a year-long phase II study have shown that CERA (continuous erythropoietin receptor activator), an investigational antianemia agent being developed by Roche, provided sustained and stable control of hemoglobin levels with dosing intervals of up to 4 weeks in dialysis patients who suffer from anemia.

These data were presented during the European Renal Association - European Dialysis and Transplant Association congress in Istanbul, Turkey. Phase II results with CERA are being confirmed in an extensive phase III clinical program.
