Findings describe new data in breast cancer research

Breast cancer research advances have been reported from Portugal, Slovenia and Italy. Study 1: Researchers examined the efficacy of ultrasonography and color Doppler with fine needle aspiration (FNA) cytology for diagnosing breast cancer metastases. According to recent research from Portugal, "The aims of this study were to evaluate the diagnostic value of ultrasonography and color Doppler combined with FNA cytology for the detection of non-palpable axillary lymph node metastases in breast cancer patients.
