Researchers detail new studies and findings in the area of obstetrics

Obstetrics data are the focus of recent research from Iran, the United States and Japan. Study 1: Interleukin-10 genotypes carry a risk for recurrent pregnancy loss. "Recurrent pregnancy loss (RPL) is defined as three or more sequential abortions before the 20th week of gestation. There is increasing evidence to support an immunological mechanism for the occurrence of RPL," investigators in Iran report.
