Oxidative stress may reduce large elastic artery compliance in older women

According to recent research from the United States, "The compliance of large elastic arteries in the cardiothoracic region decreases with advancing age/menopause and plays an important role in the increased prevalence of cardiovascular diseases in postmenopausal women.
