DVT risk may be higher in users of combined HRT

Postmenopausal women who use combined estrogen-progestin hormone replacement therapy (HRT) may be at higher risk of developing deep vein thrombosis than those using estrogen-only HRT. "Although hormone replacement therapy HRT is associated with an increased risk of deep vein thrombosis (DVT), it is not clear if the risk differs in users of combined estrogen-progestin HRT and estrogen-only HRT," wrote J.D.
