Sentinel node biopsy performed in early breast cancer

Researchers evaluated the role of sentinel node biopsy in breast cancer diagnosis.

According to recent research from Australia, "The aims of surgical therapy of breast cancer are loco-regional tumor control and staging. Axillary staging is still considered the single most important prognostic indicator in breast cancer."
