Perioperative complications in elderly women linked to cardiovascular disease

Elderly women with cardiovascular disease are more likely to have perioperative complications. According to researchers from the United States, "The purpose of this study was to determine the incidence of and risk factors for perioperative complications in elderly women who undergo urogynecologic surgery.
