Proliferative indices predict survival after chemotherapy for breast cancer.

According to a study from the United States, "neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NACT) has become the standard of care for patients with locally advanced breast cancer (LABC). This was a retrospective review of 21 consecutive women who received NACT as initial treatment of LABC, followed by surgical excision."
