Study probes perceptions, attitudes of oncologists' drug therapy choices

Market Strategies, Inc. (MSI), a syndicated research and strategic consulting firm, recently announced findings from its annual analysis of oncologists' perceptions and attitudes at ASCO 2005 (American Society of Clinical Oncology). The research was conducted by MSI's Global Life Sciences division and is based on responses from 101 oncologists who attended ASCO. The findings indicate that nearly two-thirds of physicians predict increased use of Herceptin for treatment of adjuvant breast cancer as a result of data presented at ASCO 2005, and more than half of the oncologists indicated feeling similarly about Avastin for treatment of non-small cell lung cancer. ...
