Panniculectomy is safe in obese gynecologic cancer patients. In a recent article published in the journal Acta Obstetricia Et Gynecologica Scandinavica, scientists in Poland conducted a study "to demonstrate that panniculectomy in obese gynecologic oncology patients undergoing surgical gynecologic procedures reduces operative time, gives better surgical exposure and does not increase the number of operative complications.
