Cancer management products company announces new contract in United Kingdom

TriPath Imaging, Inc. (TPTH) announced that Medical Solutions plc, its licensed distributor in the United Kingdom (U.K.), has been awarded an exclusive 5-year contract to supply the SurePath liquid-based Pap test to the Greater Lincolnshire Primary Care Trusts, Path Links Cytology Service and the Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Trust of England. Paul R. Sohmer, MD, chairman, president and CEO of TriPath Imaging, said, "With this contract, we now have cumulative commitments that represent nearly 27% of the market in the U.K., 29% in England and Wales."
