Recent studies add new data to breast cancer research

Investigators in Spain, the United Kingdom and Italy have published new breast cancer data. Study 1: Overall survival is improved among women with node-positive breast cancer who receive adjuvant docetaxel compared with those receiving fluorouracil, study results indicate. "We compared docetaxel plus doxorubicin and cyclophosphamide (TAC) with fluorouracil plus doxorubicin and cyclophosphamide (FAC) as adjuvant chemotherapy for operable node-positive breast cancer.
