INAMED Corporation (IMDC) issued comments on action by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regarding silicone breast implants. The company views the news as positive for the industry, physicians and their patients, even though according to a statement issued by the FDA earlier, "an approvable letter is one of several intermediate steps in the FDA review process of new products."
